I sure hope you don't get what they are predicting.
Last week, we got 60 mile an hour winds here. There was a lot of damage
around here. Fortunately for us, we just had some down branches. My
husband showed me one that was standing up and went about an inch into the
ground. The unfortunate thing for us is we lost power for a day. Luckily
it came back on the next morning. It got really cold yesterday. Today it
is only 18 degrees. I really feel sorry for those people who are still
without power. This week we are supposed to get a couple of inches of snow.

Oo, Kathleen, as a Californian who has seen the worst winter we've had in
years causing lots of mud slides and downed trees, no, you don't need
something coming with 50 mile per hour winds! Yuck! I would imagine you'll
also have snow in this storm. We don't get it except in the higher
elevations.

I'm enjoying the peace and quiet no jackhammers. I hope they don't come back
on Monday. Tuesday were going to get slammed with a big storm I guess. I
talk to my mom today and she said they have 50 mile an hour winds and a tree
fell on the house next-door to hers barely missing her house. What a mess.
And this is what's coming our way. We really don't need it.
