Well it does drive us up the wall although it's not as noisy as it could be the
only thing that drives us up the wall is they have to turn the heat off because
they have to remove pipes and don't go to the gas. You sure wouldn't want to
leave them in place when you're pulling in an elevator shaft. That would create
a not very good explosion and that would not be good either. But yeah it might
be a good idea if you got help with stuff. But anyway I'm still hoping I get my
credit card in the mail. But other than that things are OK. Today we had fish
and french fries and I think it was either kale or collard greens or something
like that. But I he came back a while ago and that was good. My work or did the
cleaning and that was OK. So all that nonsense is finally done. I don't know if
I'm going to church on Sunday only because Saturday and Sunday are the days we
can be quiet and there's no construction so I haven't gone lately. I probably
will start going but I'm not sure. It's just that I've kind of lost interest
also.

Hi, Kathleen,
That's neat you bought food for a couple of months. That's a good idea
because sometimes you're not able to get out for one reason or another. I
shop for food for at least a month. Sometimes the vons.com site doesn't
always have what I want in stock. This last time I ordered bologna but they
didn't have it. When I asked Mom if she'd be willing to pick some up for me,
she got on my case. I told her it wasn't my fault that they didn't have it in
stock. I also told her she should try to shop online with her eyes closed so
she could see what I go through. Maybe that would make her think before she
says something. I don't know why sighted people act that way sometimes. In
Mom's case she has a problem with her hearing so when I told her about the
bologna, I practically had to yell at her when I told her they didn't have it
in stock. I'll probably ask someone else to help me with things like that
from time to time.
I sure hope they finish up that construction pretty soon. That would drive me
up the wall after awhile.

Well I thought I could finish putting the stuff away that my niece said no.
Anyway today they don't hurt at all. I guess basically it got warmer or less
humid I don't know but today they're fine. Anyway they're still doing the
work on the third elevator and they keep turning our heat off. That's why
people are getting sick. And I think maybe that's why I got the cold and
laryngitis plus from the tar they were putting on the roof of the auditorium
because those chemicals were coming in here. And who knows what kind of stuff
is in those chemicals. My throat doesn't feel irritated anymore but some
people say I still sound horse. But I think it's going to take a while to go
away as long as they're using chemicals and all this kind of junk. But I'll
sure be glad when all this is over. Anyway I did talk to my friend in Vermont
and he told me to ensure the braille writer for replacement value which would
be about $750. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm still waiting for
my credit card to come and I hope the post office doesn't lose this one if
they do I'm going to tell the credit card company to FedEx it which I
should've done the second time. And I'm gonna tell them every four years just
FedEx the Don cup darn card. Because were having trouble with this branch of
the post office. Anyway that's all about that nonsense. But I'm really glad I
got my shopping done and I got most of the stuff that I wanted. The only
thing I forgot was hot chocolate. Anyway I'm going to talk to the store and
see if I could call in an order just using my food stamp card I wish they
would let me do that because it's kind of a trip up there. But I've been a
good customer of theirs for years so that's the way it goes. And I had the
same lady help me. There was another gentleman that was going to help me but
I asked him if Denise was here and he said yes and she did. And I bought some
more putting except the store only had chocolate no vanilla. She said she was
going to talk to the manager and see if they could get the vanilla. You know
the kind that you cook not that incident stuff the taste like plastic. But I
wanted to get the hot chocolate packets but I just forgot it Plus I was tired
and I just wanted to get out of there. But at least I got the shopping done
for a couple months now so if the weather gets bad I have enough food and I
could get out. So that's basically how that goes. But there still doing this
elevator construction and I hope they're finally done putting the tire on the
auditorium Ruth Chris all man did that stuff stink.

Hi Kathleen,
Sounds as though your brailler needs a good cleaning and that your keys are
jamming. However, I’m only guessing. Your brailler shouldn’g cost $150.00
to repair, but I don’t know how much shipping charges will be. There is a
prison program in Vacaville, California that will repair braillers for just
the cost of parts, but I don’t know how long it would take them to get to
your brailler. Howe Press is probably the most reliable place, and the
turn-around time is probably pretty minimal as compared to other repairers.
Well, hopefully, the class you missed due to your cold was pretty visual as
well. Yeah, there’s no way you could possibly have known about measuring
things without talking meters, and for what you’ll be doing, you probably
won’t need to get into that. I’m not a ham so don’t know the actual
requirements.
Glad you got your shopping done and that your aide was able to finish putting
your groceries away. Well, that’s why you have an aide, to do the things
your body won’t allow you to do. Also glad you got the energy refund back.
