Boy, I’ll try to make this as short as possible. So, sorry for the length of
this message. Tony went to the kidney doctor last Wednesday. His creotin or
however it’s spelled, is 3.8 which is very high. His overall kidney function
or GFI is only 17%. It has been at 21% for well over a year now, but it is
seriously low now. He goes for more blood draws later about a month, I think he
said, and then if it’s the same, he will be placed on the transplant list. If
it is 15% he will go on dialysis. Now regarding his friend Linda. As you may
remember, last year, in May, his long time girl friend Karen died from cancer.
He met Linda and she is a cancer survivor who has had her breasts and ovaries
etc. removed. She’s a sweet lady, but last weekend she visited her mother up
north and felt chest pains. So after she went to the doctor when she got back
home, she was told she had pneumonia and pleurisy. X-rays and a CT scan show a
nodule on her right upper lobe within her right lung. Now her file has been
forwarded to a team of bronchiole doctors who will review and determine if the
nodule is cancerous, or if that and the swelling of her lymph nodes in the
lung, are a result of her pneumonia and her body fighting the infection. If
she has cancer they say it will be tiny cell cancer. So please pray for both
Tony and Linda.
