Yes, Marcia you are very blessed indeed. How is that going anyway? Are you
able to walk in the ice and snow without worrying you’ll fall again? I know I
would be very Leary. In fact, after being here in the mountains this past
week, I’m not looking forward to winters here, actually. We’ll just to plan
our appointments and shopping in the afternoons, when it might not be so
slippery. We got rain for a day and a half last Monday and Tuesday, after it
hit northern California, and people kept texting me that we supposedly had
snow. Never saw snow, but it did get down in the 20s at night, so the roads
were slippery. I am sometimes afraid of falling on dry ground, going up and
down steps, etc. let alone on slippery surfaces. When my trick knee goes out,
down I go and you never know when that will be. I think I need to get
stronger. Maybe once we get settled in the new house, I can join a gym or
something to exercise more regularly.
