Kathleen, are you someone who understands algebra? Even with explanation or
dialogue or brailled notes, etc., I would be totally lost as I flunked algebra
second year. I've long ago forgotten first-year algebra. That's the difficulty
about trying to take a class held for mostly sighted folks. I would usually
take bunches of braille notes in those situations, but if there are math kinds
of issues on a blackboard, then we all get lost.

That's weird that the teacher didn't give you all notes to read along with
the power-point demonstration. I went to an iPad class one time at the
Braille Institute and the guy who did the demonstration gave us notes in
braille to go along with the explanation. Without the notes, I wouldn't have
been able to really understand the explanation.

I didn't go away I'm still here. I've just been quiet. I want to class last
night and came home after class and went right to bed. We did so much
algebra last night it was crazy. And I still don't understand it. My teacher
explains a lot of the stuff with PowerPoint slides it doesn't help me all
that much either.
