Wow, this is very sad news. I didn't know Sharon had other health issues
other than rumatoid arthritis and hearing loss. Yes, she did set very high
standards for herself and was an inspiration to me. It's great to be back.

Oh my goodness! This is very sad. I must admit to feeling somewhat guilty
in sharing some of my woes and thinking, "Now, Linda, you know Sharon has a
whole, whole lot she's dealing with given that she has rheumatoid arthritis
and hearing loss, and she deals with pain issues daily but just doesn't post
about that!" Sharon set very high standards for herself and inspired others
to do the same. I met her and Dave face to face as Dave lived for years in
Sacramento. I went there to meet with them while Sharon was staying at his
apartment before they moved to Southern California together. You wouldn't
want to have finer people as friends!

She had sent her latest dog back to the school because she was growing
unable to work her. She did that a couple of months ago.

Hi all, I just received word that long time lister Sharon Conkling has
passed away, and I was thinking of her either yesterday, or Thursday, and
had wondered why she hadn't posted anything to the list in some time. She
was an educated woman, and even tried to straighten me out once in a while,
but she will be missed, so just letting you all know what happened.
