Well, it took nearly 9 weeks to have a new kitchen and the electrics
done, and it was a nightmare from start to finish.
My husband had a breakdown on the first weekend, and the whole
experience of being put into a 1 bedroomed bungalow from a 3 bedroomed
house was a complete nightmare. I felt like a caged bird.
We're back now, but still having things fine tuned. We had to have a
replacement stainless steel sink, as it was rusting...yes, great quality
goods I hear you say! They replaced the sink, my hubby looked at the job
only to discover they didn't replace the outlet pipe, so if I'd not had
him looking, and had used the washer...my kitchen would have been lake
Michigan!
We bought a new dryer and they haven't left enough room for it to go
under the bench. We're waiting for someone to come and tell us what
they're going to do about that.
What with losing our carpets and a whole host of other nightmare
stories, I can't tell you how happy I am to be home now.
