Tyler has sent me a message regarding the Audioldies sites where we
uploaded albums in order to share them and has expressed an interest in
sharing albums similarly to the way we did then. Here's his message and my
response below. I hope our list members will be interested in doing some
sharing as mentioned in my reply to Tyler.

Where can I get that spirit again; downloading entire classic albums,

I'm considering setting up an Open Drive account similarly
to what another list has done, but this one, of course, is just for the
Ourplace members. Unfortunately, the hard drive I had with all the
Audioldies stuff
went down in early summer 2015, I believe. However, I have a huge
collection of lots of music now, and I know others have much to share. I
was just about
to bring this idea to our group, believe it or not. I probably won't
attempt to set this up till this weekend, but yall can be thinking about
this. By
the way, one doesn't have to do the 2 file names and all that; it's
basically like simply copying something into another folder, then when you
get ready
to share, right-click (Applications Key), go to "Links," and then find the
download link, copy it to the clipboard, and then send a new message to the
list with that link pasted ito the body of the message. This open drive is
really neat, because it doesn't store files and folders on your
computer--it's
online, so it doesn't take up extra room. If you choose to download
something, of course, that will be on your computer. I'll start this
process of setting
up the account for our group this weekend if there is enough interest, but
I have a feeling many will like this, especially since it's much simpler
than
the way we used to have to upload and name files to the server that
Audioldies was on.
