We all have seen his 4ft module.
Can't get more simple than two straight thru tracks.

Michael could care less about the trains,
They are a "passing nuisance."
Instead, he concentrates on filling the scene with details.
These could be canoes, mountain lions, sheep, etc.
On his module, there are likely 100+ living people and animals.
On his 5x12 home layout, the density is 5 fold!
He has dozens of African animals, some hand made.
These include fish in the river and snakes in trees.
Remember, this is S. Africa and Michael spent many years there.
He has scratch built homes and cottages.
Many have the vibrant colors of the area.
So too the people have colorful skirts.
These are all hand made and painted.
His lighting system is also unique.
It is fiber optic.
However, the fibers do not produce a point light,
they produce a vibrant globe of light.
One fiber lights an entire building!
His is a masterpiece of art.
Visit if you can.
In summary, this is a unique layout,
built with realistic scenes from his life.
NONE of which you will be familiar with.
