The Club/EBoard encourages sharing train photos and modeling efforts while
we are Safe at Home! Freelists.org is good for this. I have attached one
photo of my home layout (HOn3) for your enjoyment. Thank you for
subscribing to our freelists! A big thanks to Olivier for sharing great
photos.
Also, some members have not subscribed, and a few are concerned about
privacy. I will send later the Freelists.org Privacy Policy which explains
things. Please note, if you subscribe but only receive emails (i.e. never
send one to the list) then your email address is never
broadcast.Nevertheless, never post any personal info on ourocmr. Keep
content focused on model trains/prototype trains.
Please be aware that our old Yahoo2 Groups email worked similarly to
Freelists in regard to Privacy (actually, not as strict as Freelists)! In
addition, Groups.IO is very similar. One major difference, you have to be
invited to join the OCMR Yahoo2 group (no longer allowing new members) or
Groups.IO.
A public person could subscribe to ourocmr if they realized it existed. I,
as moderator, keep track of those who subscribe. No non-members have
subscribed.
The Eboard continues to review the options, but encourages everyone to use
ourocmr.
