Hi OCMR Members
Do not forget we have a show in Victorville on September 25/26, 2021. We
will be setting up on Friday, September 24th. The plan is to meet at the
club locker around 9:30/10:00 am Friday to load the club items needed for
the show. Mike will be bringing his trailer but we do need help loading and
unloading. We can start set up at Victorville at 11:00 am and we have until
6:00 pm to finish. But we want to get done early so we can test run some
trains and just kick back.
Show hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday. We will need
help on Sunday to take down and Load out. The plan is to meet at the locker
on Monday to put stuff back into the locker.
This is a small layout 20' X 28' so only 3 club members are in the show with
modules. Heimberger, Parrino, and Arendes. The rest of the layout is club
items. We are not going to take more then we need to set up the layout due
to limited trucks available.
Hope to see a lot of you at this show but remember it is in Victorville at
the top of the Cajon Pass and there is a lot of commuter and Las Vegas
traffic.
There are 8 module groups in the show, and around 60 vendors. I realize
this will be a long drive but it is also the first show since the one we
attended in early 2019. Hope to see all of you there.
