Because the gate is sitting on felt pads and the fact that one bolt between the
adjacent module was never tightened the gate has not been working well. And a
lot of members have been slamming the gate down. This morning we lost all
power to the gate and wye modules due to members slamming down the gate and
bending the fingers that trigger the interlock switches. With some effort we
did get this fixed, but PLEASE do not let the gate slam down if you use it.
Use the handles and let it down easy. We do not have any spare interlock
switches so there will be a point we can no longer fix this.
