OCMR MEMBERS:
Morrie reminds me that at the first time signup,
after you click on "signup," the system will send you an email
to which you need reply.
That proves you are real and at that mailbox.
Thereafter when you return to the SignUpGenius,
you can expand your listings.
Each time you add or change a signup,
they will send you a confirmation email of what you did.
Hopefully this will simplify the initial signup action.

OK, this is a new software
and we ol' folks have may some difficulties.
Find the signup at OCMR.us.
*That is our club website.*
On the upper right, there is a MEMBER ONLY section.
Go there and register for SignUpGenius, IGNORE ALL GREEN INVITES.
The Member Only section will allow you to select a particular show.
You can choose signup for modules or time to run trains (not both).
If you want to do both, you must return to the club website and make the
switch.
Enough said about MY learning curve,
WHERE ARE YOU MEMBERS HAVING DIFFICULTY?
I visited these signups minutes ago
and found but 3-5 members have applied for any show or day.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
If we members cannot work a computer,
then email Van with your signup problems.

WE ARE EXPECTED TO EXIST HERE.
As a OCMR EC board member: _I expect members to learn to use this tool._
I can't imagine how 34 members can ignore show opportunities
to run trains, engage with guests and have fun in a social setting.
We are NOT a fixed base club hiding behind walls where the public seldom
goes.
Instead, we are a club that displays for public entertainment.
Kaleidoscope offers us 31 days, the January library is 8 days.
True model railroaders would not forsake these opportunities
to run their trains and interact with the public.
SignUp Genius has been in place for over a week.

Kaleidoscope asks for ONLY 9 hours per week
while we have open access to the layout for 11 hour per day
during ALL of December. WHERE ARE YOUR SIGNUPS?
Van is czar, but I'll be on your case DAILY asking for your signups.
December 2nd setup in only 12 days away.
Please use the website tool or contact czar Van directly.
This is a FULL MONTH show,
host only asks for 9 hours per week,
rest of time is ours if we want to show up.
OCMR is a 34 member club.
