Hi Morrie
I really enjoyed building the flat car. Other than two very small
parts the build went well with no issues. It is a great model and I
will probably build another one. The load that I chose was an Own
Mountain kit and I would not recommend it to anyone. The flash and
sprues were horrible, it reminded me of an early 1950's kit. I am not
able to send you a photo of the car due to the fact that it has not
returned to me at this time. Dave will be sending it to me shortly.
All in all it was great fun and I look forward to another.

Hi everyone;
Well the Flat Car Challenge has been completed and all had a great
time working on their cars.
It was a great idea and I really enjoyed the work sessions at Dave
Arende’s house. Thanks are due to Carl for organizing the final
judging,
Since it was at the end of the meeting there was no recognition of
the participants and winners.
So, in order to rectify this omission I would like everyone who built
a car to send me a picture and a short explanation of
what you would like to tell others about what you did and what you
learned in the effort. I will put all other pictures
And writeups will be combined in a short newsletter for all of us to
have and something we can add to our website.
