Hi Don & Lisa,Thanks for the update. I too, was holding you both in my thoughts
so glad to know that the fires are not in your area. How sad for all the folks
who have lost homes, though. Fires are so scary. I have also been thinking of
all the drought-stricken areas of Texas and how even the wildlife is having
such a rough go of it. Mother Nature is a fickle bitch sometimes. Hope you and
Lisa are doing as well as you can and that it has cooled down some there. I
suppose that means it is only in the 90's. We have already had a couple
overnight lows of 30 here. The hummingbirds have headed for warmer climes in
past few days, too. Do keep us posted when you can. Seems my life lately has
been a busy one and Sept. is almost booked up too with various activities and
family visits. Will tell you how our trip down the Snake River goes when we get
back after the 14th. Just a short 2 hour cruise but should be fun. ~Sandy p.s.
Thanks John for being more prompt in asking than I was and congrats on your
quitting ciggies, too. One of our sons is doing the same and is on the smallest
patch thing for one more week. I applaud you both!
