The schematic on their site for powering the device in cases
where you need to shows a 220 ohm resistor from 5V to pin 4 of the
MIDI out jack. (Pin 2 is gnd) The OSCar MIDI design (mine or the
original one)
has this exact circuit, so I suspect that it will work. Since I
haven't tested it, I can't guarantee that.
