ORNL Runners and Walkers!
Team UT Battelle $25 discounts are still available for ORNL employees to
register for any of the CHKM events. The employee will pay the balance.
Example: the 5K now cost $35, Team UT Battelle would pay $25 and the employee
would only pay the remaining $10. If you have already registered/paid for the
events, you will be reimbursed $25 from CHKM - details will be sent to you
separately.

Once there, follow these

Page 1 - Click on Corporate Teams (see slide 1)
Page 2 - Select to "Join" your Corporate Team (UT- Battelle/ORNL) (see slide 2)
Page 3 - Select which event (Marathon, Half, 5K, etc.) (see slide 3)
Page 4 - Sign the waiver (see slide 4)
Page 5 - Enter coupon code ORNL2018. It will also ask if someone is an employee
or not. If they are an employee, than this will automatically deduct $25 off of
their registration fee at checkout. If they are not an employee, then it will
not allow them to continue registering. (see slide 5)
Page 6 - There are some personal questions that come up here. Since the
registrant should be an employee of yours, they should select your company from
the dropdown menu in this question: Knoxville area employers only: Required for
your participation to count in the Fittest Company Challenge.
NOTE: This is the mechanism that tabulates the points for the Fittest Company
Challenge. (see slide 6)
From here, the registrant can continue to navigate their registration (sign up
for result notifications, purchase merchandise, etc.). When they get to the
payment screen, they will not need to enter a coupon code since they already
entered one to join the corporate team. The fee will be deducted the $25
already and they can then pay the balance
If you registered to participate and/or volunteer for the upcoming Covenant
Health Marathon Events in Knoxville, March 24 & 25 under ORNL's team, then
there are Team UT Battelle t- shirts available for you that we would like for
you to wear during the race. These shirts are for ORNL employees only who are
registered. Please forward this email to any employees you know that may have
signed up or encourage your co-workers to sign up. It is not too late!!! ORNL
wants to win the Fittest Company Challenge in 2018!!
Shirts may be picked up from Jan Hashmi in 4500N, K227 and must be picked up by
March 21. Please call or email before you come to make sure Jan is in her
