Isn’t there supposed to be an open house on Wednesdays to go in and talk about
the permitting process? I know I understand my plans have to be finished before
I submit for the permit. Is there a way to have my permit number before I
submit my plans? I’ll check next Wednesday. Thank for this memo.

Thanks, Daryl. And thanks Ed for bringing this issue to 9News. I’m
interested in finding out how long it’s taking to get a permit for original
town (homes destroyed in Marshall Fire) compared to the other neighborhoods.
Maybe it’s the timing (holidays) or getting new staff up to speed but it’s a
little frustrating.

I wonder if folks are needing help with their town permitting process? If
you would like to meet and/or have direct help with the process please let
me know that I can share your information with the town. They are currently
working on getting a liason assigned to help out.
I've been hearing too many stories of challenges and frustration with the
process.
Hope everyone is staying warm,
