I agree with what has been stated by others. It seems that even Purple
Martin is more common during September than Tree or Cliff Swallow.

I am wondering what your thoughts might be regarding Tree Swallow
essentially absent after Labor Day, becoming uncommon in early August. Yet,
in other western Oregon locations I see continual reports of Trees. I am
wondering if this is something interesting happening regarding geographic
distribution (maybe Trees use the PDX area and western flank of the
Cascades but avoid other areas) or if they are misID cases where we could
help folks on OBOL by educating of them about rarity of Trees after
mid-August or so. Almost no one posts photos of fall Trees reported, so it
is tough to be certain if they may be incorrect reports. We all know how
tough fall swallow ID can be.
