The sapsucker in this checklist was recently reported from Lincoln Co. as a
putative RBSA x RNSA hybrid.

To me, this bird looks mostly like a RBSA, with just a little extra black
in the face. I'd like to get some opinions on whether this bird still falls
within the RBSA range (especially the southern subspecies *dagettii*) or
whether it should be considered a hybrid.
Thanks for any input!
