Hi all,
Tyler Hallman and I (mostly Tyler!) have updated the biogeographic filters for
the state according to your past recommendations.
Please review to be sure we understood properly what you wanted.
I have to share the files via the following dropbox link because freelists is
restricting the file sizes too much.

First, open Google Earth then go to File:Open and locate the OregonFilterUpdate
kmz file (download it from your email to your desktop first if you need to).
(You can also get a quick preview by opening the state map attached as a pdf
named OregonFilters.pdf)
Next, zoom in to your areas of responsibility. Check the zones along the
Columbia River (if you have them) carefully. Check the higher elevation areas
carefully (if you have them).
Check to make sure the lines are in the places you expect/want them to be. You
can click on each polygon and see what each one has been named.
If lines could be in more useful places, please email me and let me know what
needs to be adjusted.
If you want to change names of any of your regions, please list in an email
what they are currently called (you can click each polygon and see that, or you
can consult the attached Excel file) and then let us know your preferred name
if you want something changed.
Finally, please let us know, if at all possible, by end of October, if you
suggested corrections or if you are good to go. It’s taken a long time to find
the space to work on this, and we will probably lose that space and momentum
when November rolls around.
Many thanks!
Doug
