I am at the field right now but it is pretty breezy. So I might just head home
in a bit.

morning I test flew two different wings that were designed for slowing down an
E-Snipe. Unfortunately there was some wind that prevented ideal test
conditions. First up was John Castlemen’s wing. This wing is thicker than the
standard E-Snipe wing. It can fly slower that the regular wing, but with the
wind I was unable to determine just how slow it could go. Next was Tom Speer’s
wing. This wing is longer and is taper. It flew nicely (and in less windy
conditions) and like John’s wing flew slower than the regular wing. This wing
looks sexy on the E-Snipe fuselage – so it’s going to be a permanent wing on
one of my E-Snipes! Rick
