Hi Flyers,
I am busy building a plane out of bits and pieces using a wing from a Radian
Glider. There was no spar in the foam wing when I got it and there seems to be
two part numbers when I look up spare parts. Does anyone know how long the
spar is? Is it Carbon Fiber? What is the diameter of the tube? Were there two
sizes used over the years of the Radian’s manufacture?
I hope this will be a better ORCA trainer than the “Slow Sticks” that get
blown about with the wind.
Yes, it might be an entrant in the “Build-a-Plane” contest held this May.
