Used to be issues with sequences that the app needed to be prepared for.
Improvement made over the years, but I don't think enough to be considered
black box. (Multiple nodes pulling and caching sequences).

Can anyone tell me why an application would be compatible with oracle but not
rac? I'm assuming it must have to do with connectivity, but not sure why that
isn't transparent to all applications?
