Personally...I see no point in making use of this feature. It's my understanding that oracle just sets up parent-child relationship behind the scenes anyways. I don't get the impression that very many people use this. -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Greg Tubbs Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2007 10:06 AM To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: use of nested tables to resolve many to many relationships Any one out there a heavy user of oracle nested tables? I am looking for the top reasons to use them or to stay away from them. They look like an effective way to model many to many relationships but I have not used them before. Thank you in advance for any responses. -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This message is intended for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged, confidential and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
