Jared, That doesn't quite ring true with me. I'm sure that with newer versions V8 and above you can achieve adding a Linux partition even if you've got NTFS/FAT on the machine e.g. in simple terms: - shrink the FAT/NTFS partition - Partition up the new free space and away you go BTW I always make sure that the Linux boot partition is below 1024 Cyls just to be on the safe side. I do remember there was a some sort of limitation with Windows 2000 NTFS / Linux at PM V5 and below but I can't remember exactly what. Anyway as usual there are many ways to sucessfully partition a disk and as long as it works who cares.
