I have changed the hostname of my linux box and now get the following error
when running lsnrctrl start.

TNS-12537: TNS:connection closed
 TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
  TNS-00507: Connection closed
   Linux Error: 29: Illegal seek

I changed the references to the hostname in the listener.ora and tnsnames.ora, but I kept the references to GLOBAL_DBNAME unchanged. Do I need to change my instances GLOBAL DBNAME?
