OS? On Linux:
If it's running and you are too lazy to look at the listener.ora file (like me):
$ ps -ef |grep tns
grid 2937 1 0 May07 ? 00:00:29
/u01/app/grid/11.2.0.4/bin/tnslsnr LISTENER -inherit
If it's not running, I would look in the listener.ora file. If you do not have
a listener.ora file, then, the default is LISTENER.

Ok, really stupid question. How do I know the exact name of my listener? In
my init.ora? in my tnsnames.ora? When I grep for it in unix?
They all seem to be showing me something different........
