When you installed the 9.2.0.5 PS , did it not have you install the new
Installer

On my system that bumped the JRE to 1.4.2

Subject: Re: jre install was missing java classes with xsql

On my 9.2.0.5 database running on a HP11.11 the JRE shows the following: JRE
-> /orcl/u01/app/oracle/jre/1.1.8

This location should have nothing to do with your ORACLE_HOME, this is where
you told the Oracle installer to put your jre when you were installing.

Hope this helps.
