Hello,

As you mentioned, we just use "nohup <script_name> &" and then have a simple
cron script that runs a "ps" to verify the process is running. We haven't
really had any issues with it, but interested to know if there is a better
solution

Thanks

I'm wondering how you're handling running the observer?

Since it looks like it has to be running in the "foreground" via dgmgrl? Nohup
script & ??

thanks, joe
