Export will not use memory from the large pool. It will consume the server
process's PGA memory.
To prove it, you could run exp and then use an O/S tool (such as pmap on
Solaris) to examine how much memory of what kind has been allocated.
If you define a 100MB buffer, I'd expect to see 100MB in private process
memory allocated to the server process.

Hi all,
If I have exp and imp with buffer=100MB

Will buffering make use LARGE POOL? Do you think I have to set my
LARGE_POOL_SIZE to =128 MB

or this LARGE_POOL_SIZE design only for MTS and RMAN operations?

Thanks

Sinardy
