Chris,
When you say it cannot load the asm disk, are you saying it can’t find the
disks? Did the permissions change as part of the upgrade?

Subject: asm fails to load disks after July PSU
Has anyone run into this? I applied the July PSU to grid/oracle on the first
node of an 11.2.0.4 RHEL6 two node Oracle RAC. The PSU applied successfully to
the oracle home and grid home. The patch then failed to restart the
clusterware, because is can not load the asm disk.
I have a ticket open with tech support on this, but thought to ask if anyone
else has run into this issue?
