Using Veritas Storage Foundation 6.0.1 with Oracle: Recommended Mount Options

For those who are laying down Oracle databases on Veritas VxFs filesystems,
I know it is recommended to use ODM to get direct and async IO. However,
the presence of bug 13551402 is preventing us from usig ODM at this point.
1) If you are using this type of filesystem, what mount options are you
using?
2) If you enable mincache=direct, will this disable async IO?
