Re: UTL_File -- invalid path error

this is so frustrating... I tried all the following

C:\\       oracle starts but value in v$parameter shows exactly as c:\\
            and I get invalid path exception

c:\       oracle does not start shared memory realm does not exist
'c:\'           same
"c:\"         same
"c:\\"        same

I'm running 9i under xp, I remember this used to work with 8i,
I was using c:\\ there and it was working ok.

At this point I'm ready to try anything else someone might think
it'll work.
