df -k on Solaris produces 1 line per file system. It may wrap on your screen, but if you pipe it to grep, grep will see it as one line. mvg/regards Jo Oracle DBA <iamanoracledba@xxxxxxxxx> Sent by: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 02/25/2004 13:13 Please respond to oracle-l To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx cc: Subject: URGENT ****** df -k in Solaris Vs. bdf in HP-UX ****** Hello All, Good Morning! If you have any tool to format it in one line, Would you please share ? I am facing the similar issue on HP servers, bdf output goes into two lines, I would like to get it in one line (to use it in grep).
