Thanks.  Yes, that is also mentioned in ML#1062906.6 .
However, as I show at <http://hemantoracledba.blogspot.com/2009/10/some-testing-on-intra-block-row.html>http://hemantoracledba.blogspot.com/2009/10/some-testing-on-intra-block-row.html I see 2 'consistent gets' if I select the 96th or higher column while I see 1 'consistent get' for the 95th or lower column. Christian explains that in terms of the row pieces being stored in reverse order.
