Does anyone have any positive experience partitioning Siebel Analytics tables via hash? I have partitioned w_person_d and _dx and w_activity_f and _fx on row_id via hash. I have a degree of two on the table and indices and I'm using 8 partitions to start with. I am testing on queries that perform joins via row_wid and also that use row_wid in the predicate, but in just about every single test the performance has degraded. Any ideas or suggestions or explanations are appreciated...
