I dislike how everyone labels/calls the ANSI-92 new join syntax ANSI-joins which implies traditional join syntax is not ANSI compliant when it is. I find it easier and quicker to write and to later re-write queries using the traditional syntax. I only like the ANSI-92 syntax for coding outer joins. Perhaps by the end of the next decade I will get used to the ANSI-92 standard. -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Fergal Taheny Sent: Wednesday, October 16, 2013 1:09 PM To: landstander668@xxxxxxxxx Cc: oracle-l-freelists Subject: Re: SQL has me confused.
