Hi Lothar,
If the px slave runs on another instance, it needs to generate a local plan
for the SQL (I'm not sure if this is required in same instance also, or if
there is a shortcut between qc and px so it can get the plan directly).
This is a situation where I see the px creating a plan.

it is a typo. It ment to read "This was the note associated with the
plan."
I now believe it means that the plan was produced by a px slave because
the qc was killed.

This was the plan not associated with the plan.
When I do an explain plan I get "automatic DOP: Computed Degree of
Parallelism is 32 because of degree limit", which is reasonable.
