    When I was working on PeopleSoft that company didn't have ANY
disaster plan other than sending people home with copies of tapes.

Thanks for your response on this. I also asked David Kurtz about this
issue, he also responded that Global Temporary Tables could be used to
reduce the volume of redo being generated

The product we have is PeopleSoft HCM v8.9 and v9.1

BTW, how about on the environment you've worked on, how do they address
having the DR (data guard, etc.) given the excessive redo generation on
batch runs?
