Maybe keep an eye on the Metalink issues page for the patch for about a
week, if nothing major appears I would say go ahead.

I got burned with a couple of patches, one was for 8i one for Forms 6i.
That was over a year ago but you never know.

Certainly I would patch within a couple of weeks / a month of the =
patchset
being released.

Patch your test and development systems first. Do your own checking, =
ask
the developers to see if everything seems to be working for them, then =
move
on to the production systems.

Don't patch your most critical server first. You know, the one that's =
the
hub for everything else in your work place.

Subject: Patch set 9.2.0.5 on Windows=20

Has anyone encountered any problems with the latest patchset for 9i
under Windows, i.e. 9.2.0.5? I'm just wondering whether we should patch
up now, or wait to see if any "issues" emerge, since it was only
released a few days ago.
