I thought I would send an update on this. I was contacted by Jonathan Gennick
at Apress who reads this list and saw my email below. He asked me which book
was missing and sent it to me, along with another ebook he thought I might be
interested in which was a nice gesture. Today I was provided with a procedure
to relink the book to my account, which has worked.
So a happy ending for me at least.

I’d be wary of using them. A book disappeared from my account, so I raised it
with their support, but can’t get a response. Also they are one of those
American companies who change the same in UK Pounds as they do in US Dollars,
so the offers are worse value in the UK.

Subject: OT: Oracle book sale at Apress
Hey all,
It's been awhile since I've spammed the list with an ad from apress.com for us
to get some cheap Oracle (and other) ebooks and/or paper books. Here's what
they sent me:
"Cyber Monday at Apress starts early this year—eBooks, just 9.99 and print
books, only 12.50 + FREE shipping. Sale starts 11/21/17, so mark your calendars
and start browsing now!
This offer is valid for individual customers only. Institutions are excluded.
Regional VAT may apply."
I personally think the DRM-free ebook format from Apress is the best available,
and there are some very good Oracle books to pick up dirt cheap.
Enjoy!
