A multinational leading manufacturer in the Los Angeles California
area (Upland) needs an Oracle Applications DBA (Financials /Manufacturing)
to join it's staff.
*This is a 1-6 month contract to hire position..contract rate is
$50-75 an hour ($75 - $85 an hour if incorporated including expenses.).
The salary range will be $90,000-110,000 depending on experience.
Relocation Assistance is provided.

*General Description:
This project is in the initial stages
New Dell Hardware running Linux RedHat
Implementing Oracle 12 the latest release
Installing almost all modules from financials and manufacturing - too
many to list
This is a new conversion from an old legacy system
Go live early 2009
Lead and drive the implementation of the new Oracle software and services
You will serve as a KEY contact between the IT Manager and the
implementation partner
You will take ownership of the project
Provide leadership guidance
Be a watchdog over the implementation partner
Make sure theyre not being taking advantage of by the implementation partner
Make sure the implementation partner is not misquoting them
Make sure the implementation partner is meeting their deliverables
Opportunity to become an IT Manager and learn RAC, Linux Admin,
multiple org implementation learn other technologies and become a
Subject Matter Expert.

* Qualifications:
-5+ years Oracle Financials /Manufacturing DBA experience
