All,

If you are having problems connecting to the grid, check your
C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file. It requires the following
entry:

10.72.208.121 dolaora1

Subject: Oracle 10 Agent Discovering 9i databases

All,

I am finally trying to get 10g Grid up and running. I am trying to get
our 10g agents (10.1.0.2.0) to discover and connect to our 9i databases
(9.2.0.7). I have successfully connected to our 10.2 databases. I
found the targets.xml file in the 10g agent home that looks like it
replaces the snmp_rw.ora file that the 9i agent used. But I am getting
a connect error (invalid usercode/password) when the 10g agent tries to
connect.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Tom
