Folks,
I'm stuck in a weird situation with OEM 12.1.0.4 on RHEL 6 where a deploy of
plugins failed and now the OMS won't start, which makes it VERY difficult to
undeploy those plugins. Here's what happened:
1. The plugins failed updating the repository.
2. The suggestion from an "emctl status oms -details", when monitoring
the deployment progress, was to roll back the repository. I ran a
point-in-time recovery to about 1 hr before I did any plugin work.
3. When trying to restart the OMS I get:
Oracle Management Server cannot be started now.
This is due to the following plug-ins being deployed on the management server
or undeployed from it:
after which each of the failed plugins is listed.
I could use an "emcli undeploy..." command but that requires the OMS to be up
so at this point it seems like I'm stuck: OMS won't start but to fix the
problem I need the OMS to be up. I assume that one or more OS-level files need
to be altered/removed, presumably in the .../plugins/... directories but I have
no idea one any specifics.
I have a sev2 SR with Oracle open on this but I fear that route may go no where
for days. Anyone ever run into something like this?
