OEM Plug-in for EMC Clariion

Hello,
I am having some issues configuring the EMC plug-in that will allow me to
monitor the NaviCLI
Has anyone been able to get this to configure correctly?
I've successfully installed the plug-in, can see all the reports available in
the OEM, (although no metrics are being collected currently) and the Navisphere
client has been installed by my Network Admin correctly, (he can login without
any issues and view information from the command line...)
What we can't do is get it to successfully add the agent, (Setup, Agents, Add
"EMC Clariion System".) I add the new name in the properties, the NaviCli
Location, the IP addresses, hostname and password supplied by my Network Admin,
(same one he has tested successfully with..) and it simply fails to login.
Oracle Support currently says we need to add a certificate to authenticate, but
this version does not have an OS for us to create that certificate on the EMC
system and the support specialist doesn't seem willing to budge from this
resolution...
Any ideas? Anyone had any success with this? My IT Director is salivating
with the idea that he could monitor this data from the OEM and that I could use
the more complex paging and escalation setup in OEM to page people if there was
an issue....
