ODP.NET and 9.2.0.4 TAF

Hi everyone,
Need some help with ODP.NET and TAF please. It's 1am and I'm writing
this email so you can see that I'm in dire straits!
We've managed to successfully failover via SQL*Plus, but having
problems getting ODP.NET to failover succesfully. Error encountered is
ORA-1012 when it tries to fail over to the second instance.
From all the doco's we've read, it appears that ODP.NET should work
with TAF and failover transparently. Is there anything special that we
need to check for? Being a DBA we're not sure of what to check for at
the ODP.NET end. Is there a setting that we need to use? Are there
known bugs and work-arounds with 9.2.0.4 TAF? We're using ODP.NET
v9.2.0.4.01
