I checked one of our 7.3 + ASM envs and it looks like everything you've
listed matches what we have (and is working):

% uname -r
3.10.0-514.10.2.el7.x86_64

% ls -lrth /usr/src/kernels/
total 8.0K
drwxr-xr-x. 22 root root 4.0K Nov 30 15:30 3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64
drwxr-xr-x. 22 root root 4.0K Nov 30 15:35 3.10.0-514.10.2.el7.x86_64

% rpm -qa |grep -i oracleasm
kmod-oracleasm-2.0.8-17.el7.x86_64
oracleasmlib-2.0.12-1.el7.x86_64
oracleasm-support-2.1.8-3.el7.x86_64

% which oracleasm
/usr/sbin/oracleasm

% ls -l /usr/sbin/oracleasm
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 16856 Jul  9  2014 /usr/sbin/oracleasm

% sudo /etc/init.d/oracleasm status
Checking if ASM is loaded: yes
Checking if /dev/oracleasm is mounted: yes

In the rare chance you haven't reviewed this already, make sure to check
"deploying_oracle_rac_12c_rhel7_v1.1"

Thanks Norman! For looking into this issue on a Sunday!

I have reviewed all these MOS Doc IDs, you mentioned below. They don’t say
much about oralceasm/kmod module version for Linux kernel 3.10.0-514 .

I tried updating the existing drivers, but failed:-

[root@dl-bel01 Packages]# /usr/sbin/oracleasm update-driver

Kernel:         3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64 x86_64

Driver name:    oracleasm-3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64

Driver for kernel 3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64 does not exist

[root@dl-bel01 Packages]# uname -r

3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64

Is there any doc/link/blog where asmlib is configured on OEL/RHEL 7 and
later.

Thanks & Regards,

Doc ID 2097202.1 says that you need to be sure that the module version
matches that of your kernel.

The offered solutions are:

One approach is to boot with a kernel that matches the ASMLIB components

or you can update the ASMLIB components.
