No you don't need two infrastructure installation as well as midtier. I
had presentation given in Oracle open world regarding this configuration
as step by step process along with several other configuration option and
this can be checked by search with mine last name at the following link

Guys,

I want to be able to have two different directories for source code - =
forms/reports, connections to different databases. I figure that I =
don't need an additional infrastructure database - do I need another =
complete installation of the midtier?

What is the best practice?

Thanks,
Paula
