How true does Dan Morgans's rant ring. My current pet hate is why the PSU patches have to have standard patch numbering and not be highlighted as a PSU patch with something like PSU3osver where os is the operating system and ver is the database version. You perform an opatch lsineventory, you know PUS patches have been applied because the formatting has been applied but then you have to struggle to look up what the patch actually is. Yes I know registry$history shows the information but I do not want to have to take two actions when one will do. Mind you he had a better mini rant at UKOUG last year about being stopped by the police because of a rental car issue http://www.morganslibrary.org/reference/upgrade_patches.html www.jhdba.wordpress.com<http://www.jhdba.wordpress.com/> John DBA Team Leader Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC Tel 0845 611 4589 Mob: 07876 790540 E-mail: john.hallas@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ______________________________________________________________________ Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc is registered in England with number 358949.
